A Trusted Partner for the Moments that Matter Most

Partnering with leaders across talent priorities, operations, communications, and AI strategy.

WHAT WE DO

CGR Advisory partners with founders, CEOs, and their teams on a fractional or project basis.

Talent & Organization

CGR shapes how organizations are built and how they feel to work in — from org design, succession, and onboarding to the engagement, learning, and culture programs that make talented people want to stay.

Executive Operations

CGR brings a chief-of-staff lens to how leadership operates, designing the rhythm that keeps the business on track, turning strategy into executable plans, and shaping workforce planning, risk, and AI strategy.

Communications & Marketing

CGR shapes how firms and their leaders show up, internally and externally — from positioning and thought leadership to internal communications, keynotes, and town halls.

Why CGR Advisory

No Two Paths Look Alike

Some leaders already know the work and need more capacity. Others are stepping onto a path that’s new and need someone who has been there before. Either way, the engagement is sized to fit the situation.

Built for Execution

CGR doesn’t advise from the sidelines. It fills the gaps the team needs filled — whether that’s strategy, execution, or both — and sees the work through.

Grounded in Firsthand Experience

Fifteen years at Goldman Sachs at the intersection of human capital strategy, divisional operations, and leadership communications. This isn’t outside perspective — it’s the work, done from the inside.

“That mix — an engagement sized to the situation, hands-on execution, and the experience of someone who has carried this responsibility herself — is CGR’s advantage.”

ABOUT

Courtney Riley

Founder & Principal

Courtney Riley spent fifteen years at Goldman Sachs across human capital strategy and divisional business management, most recently as Chief Administrative Officer of Global Investment Research and a Managing Director of the firm. That combination of deep human capital expertise, the operating seat of a divisional CAO, and the communications craft to carry it through the organization is the foundation of CGR Advisory.

Her own path at Goldman, from Analyst to Managing Director across two distinct disciplines, gives her an unusual vantage point: she can help a leader find their footing on a familiar path, move faster on one they’re already on, or navigate one that’s entirely new.

Let’s Talk

Every path starts somewhere. If you’re navigating a transition, a high-stakes moment, or a priority that has to move — a short conversation is the right place to begin.
